I enjoyed reading the New Year post because it carries such a positive feeling about starting fresh while continuing the mission of helping animals find safe homes. It reminded me that rescues rely a lot on foster homes and volunteers to give dogs a chance at a better life before adoption. I remember during a busy week balancing study and volunteering at a small shelter; I even searched take my Myob assignments just to finish coursework on time. Posts like this always remind me how small acts of care can change an animal’s life.
