UPDATE TO RMPR ADOPTIONS DURING COVID 19 

 

RMPR will not have adoption events.  We will be conducting phone interviews and then adoption pickups via appointment for all of our animals. We will have our pickups on certain days/ times and they will be done at the back of the Petco in Arvada. We will not allow the public to shop our dogs. If you are just looking, we suggest you wait until the social distancing policies are over and then come back to adopt an animal.

• We ask that all interested persons please start by submitting an APPLICATION through our website. PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE US ABOUT DOGS WE CANNOT ANSWER YOU, YOU MUST FIRST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

• You will only be able to choose ONE dog for that day.

• Only dogs listed here are available. We will not HOLD any dogs.

• Only two persons per family will be permitted to enter our pick-up area. 

• IMPORTANT:  WE REQUIRE A DEPOSIT IN ORDER TO SECURE AN APPOINTMENT.  

• WE WILL COLLECT THE DEPOSIT WHEN WE CALL YOU.

•   We ask that you adhere to your appointment time by pulling up and waiting in your vehicle.

• Do not approach our pick-up area. One of our adoption counselors will text you and then you will be given 5 min to enter.

• If you are not in our building by that time we will move on to the next adoption and your time slot will be released and your deposit forfeited.

• Payments are to be done via CC only.

• Time allotments are strictly 15 minutes per family.
   

The shelters are full of animals and we have been able to secure foster homes for all of our pups and adults. We ask for patience and cooperation with our new rules so we may practice social distancing all while finding great forever homes for our dogs. We will conduct an interview with you online and invitations to adopt will be sent to those that are interested in adopting that day.
