Female/Spayed Microchipped 2 years old Great Pyrenees mix $400 Aspen is the epitome of a gentle giant! Although bigger in stature, Aspen is a graceful sweetheart with calm energy. Sometimes, her presence is so peaceful you hardly notice she's around! Aspen loves napping, does wonderfully on walks, and is friendly toward other dogs. What Aspen craves most is a loving family that will give her lots of affection and a place to call home. She's pretty trusting and once she feels safe and secure, she won't stop gazing at you with those big, beautiful brown eyes! This sweet girl will make a wonderful addition to any family. Good luck not falling in love! :)
Male/Neutered Microchipped 4 years 1 ½ month old Chihuahua mix $275 Henry likes to walk, bonds quickly, and loves to sit on your lap. He plays with toys. He responds to treats for behavior. He responds to our direction to sit on one sofa rather than other furniture.
Male/Neutered Microchipped 5 years 1 month old Chihuahua mix $275 Herbert (or as we call him Herbie the Love Bug) is a sweet little guy. He's a little shy but really wants to get to know you when you meet him. He has the sweetest little head tilt and loves to give kisses. He likes to play with toys and sometimes takes one with him when he has the zoomies. He's good with the other dogs at my house but is mainly focused on people. Herbie would love to be YOUR new love bug so come and meet him Saturday!
Male/Neutered Microchipped 1 year 6 ½ months old Husky/Shepherd mix $400 Isaac is a handsome Husky mix, he weighs about 47 pounds, and his age is estimated to be around a year and a half. He can be a bit timid at the first meeting but warms up pretty fast. Isaac seems to be housebroken, he picked up on our "doggie door" very quickly. Isaac would make a great hiking or running buddy. He's full of energy, and loves to play with canine siblings or his "humans." Isaac gets along with his 13 & 11 year old "foster siblings," but they don't play very long if at all. He would do well with a 1-6-year-old canine sibling. Isaac is a real "cuddler" and quite affectionate. When you are sitting in a chair or on the couch, he'll come and put his head in your lap asking for hugs. He does get excited when you wake up or come home and will try to give you a hug standing up. Isaac also does give "hugs" with his mouth on occasion, he is not biting, this is a comforting/calming practice for dogs called "suckling." Isaac would be a fun, exciting, and wonderful addition to a family. Are you his "furever family?"
Male/Neutered Microchipped 3 years 2 ½ months old Pit mix $300 Jobim (Anonio Carlos that is) is a big, lovable goofball. He runs and jumps like a puppy, gets very excited to see you, then rolls over for a belly rub. He seems to like all dogs, but is so big and excited to meet new friends that he can be intimidating to dogs that are not confident and well balanced. Although he can come on a little strong, he corrects very easily. He has not been tested with cats, and is probably a bit too rambunctious for really small children. If you want a fantastic ambassador for a misunderstood breed, this beautiful, gentle soul may be the one for you.
Female/Spayed Microchipped 1 year 3 months old Shepherd mix $400 Memphis is such a sweet girl. She appreciates everything you give her. No one loves a comfy bed or a belly rub more than this girl. Her disposition is super easy-going. When I had twenty people at my house, including eight kids under the age of ten, she just hung out with everyone, and took it all in. Memphis likes to take long walks, She is happy to jog along at a quicker pace or just mosey along and check out all of the smells. She will wrestle a bit with my dog, but she tends to be more on the mellow side and will only wrestle for a bit. She enjoys hanging out in the grass in the sunshine or relaxing in the dog bed inside. She is super cute when she runs through the snow; she bounces up and down like a bunny. When is she not mellow? If there is a rabbit to chase, she is on it! You will see that athletic build in action! Memphis is a major tail-wagger. If she is in the kennel and sees you, it sounds like a drum beat of tail-wags. Sometimes her tail wags in a complete circle, and my favorite is the full-body wag. Memphis gets along with all people and all dogs. She will snuggle up with my dogs and give them kisses. Occasionally she will let out a "woof" at a passing dog when she is in the backyard, but is easily redirected. She has never acted unfriendly towards others. She is completely potty trained (she has never had an accident) and overall a super easy dog. She is good with a kennel and a leash. She eats well and does not seem to have any food aggression. She does great in the car and lets you do what you need to do (like put on her harness or take it off.)
